Source Monitor Playback Issue (After dragging into Timeline)

I am sure there is a quick fix to this, but I cannot seem to find it.

The issue is this:

I have my video in the source monitor. I have in and out points in it. I drag my video clip into the timeline. No problem yet.

Now, when I go back to the source monitor to continue playing the video (past the OUT marker to see if I want to add another clip from that same video), it only replays my "IN and OUT points" from the first go around.

So what I have done to circumvent this issue in the meantime is, I change my OUT point to the end of that video so that I can continue seeing what is in that full video.

I don't believe it was always like that, because I never had to come back to the source monitor to change my IN and OUT points to continue watching that video.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I went ahead and reset Premiere Pro settings and it did the job.  (To reset on a Mac: Hold down Option while booting until splash screen appears.)

Make sure you have the ordinary play button and not the play in to out button, shown in red:

Yeah. I DO NOT have that button shown on the panel so its not that.
