Question

Source (no clips) after saving.

Heyy all. I saved my project properly and closed the project. Then, when I re-opened that same project, everything loaded EXCEPT the video will not play. Everything on the timeline looks good but the source is showing "source: (no clips)".  Nothing happens when I press play. When I drag over the timeline I can still hear the audio. Thanks in advance!

Hey Andrew,

Could you share a screenshot of your Timeline? Do you see any errors or warning messages? The Source monitor won't preview your Timeline. Could you check if you see the preview on your Program Monitor? If you do not see it, go to Window > Program Monitor or Window > Workspaces and switch to another default workspace.

I've not seen that message, can you supply a screenshot of the full GUI and also of that part that says no clips. Where were your clips are they still on the drive? Is a portable device, perhaps with a different drive letter? Win or Mac, version, OS, etc...

Thank you for the reply. My clips are saved on an external hard drive that is plugged in and working well.

No screenshot is attached.  Make sure to use a computer, not a phone.
