Source Window playback behaviour changed

Hey all, here's a weird one ... something changed for me this week and I don't know why!

for years, in the Source windows if I hit space/play the clip previewed in that windows from where the source windows' current  time indicator marker was.

This week - for no reason that i know, when i hit space/play it now only plays the segment marked between the in and out points - IT DIDN'T USED TO DO THIS.

the way around it is of course to clear the in/out markers in the source windows, but after 8 years of editing not having to do this, this is a complete pain, and i don't know if it's a setting i've changed my mistake, or something that Adobe is now forcing upon us! if it's the latter, that's extremely poor form!

has anyone else seen/had this, and know of how to get around it?

IN SHORT: i want to be able to have in/our markers in the source windows, but play from the CTI is marked at, *not* the in out markers.

thanks! Geoff.

Not seeing this behavior on my computer.

Is this a project that has been upgraded from a previous version?

If you make a new test project, do you see the same behavior?

Have you tried trashing your preferences?
