Speed / Duration... missing AUDIO when rendering!?

Hi

I make a lot of DIY maker videos and therefore have a lot of timelapse / Quick clips in my videos.

I like to use the "Speed / Duration..." from the right click menu.

Somethimes I want the audio to be on the clips I speed up and the audio is there in preview inside Premiere Pro.

But when I export the whole video the audio in the speed up clips disappears??  This does not happen on clips that is speed up under approx. 1000%.

My question is, why can I hear the audio when editing in premiere and why does it disappear when I render the video?

Is there a fix around this problem?

I would really like to use the audio on the speed up clips..

Kind Regard

I want the audio to be on the clips I speed up

My advice, don't do that.  From a 'creative' standpoint, it's...not good.

Use only real time audio.

Speed is maxed out to 1000%, so everything above can cause issues.

Use lower speed then nest and add a speed value again. See how that goes.

Do you mean the audio is maxed out at 1000%?

Because I can speed up the clips to 10.000% in premiere and still hear the audio in preview. Thou its more like a high pitched noise I would still like to use it in the rendered version of the video.

I can try to speed up a clip to, lets say, 800% then export it, import it again and then speed it up. Perhaps the audio will remain then? But it seems like a lot of work for something that should be integrated in Premiere

As Ann said do half the speed change, nest and the do the rest. This issue also happens if you slow a clip down a lot.
