Speed up the video (for preview) in the timeline to 1.5x?

I am one of cutting a long video (documentary) by watching it on the timeline. There are times when I press the "L" key to fast forward the video. So its speed doubles. But there are times that this speed is very fast and I would like to know if there is a way to increase the playback speed to 1.5 or 1.75?
