Split clip into multiple equally long pieces

Hi, I've been searching an answer to this for a while now but couldn't find anything that fits my case:

I want to split a clip in my timeline into multiple (more than two) equally long pieces. Is there a way to do this apart from manually placing the cuts (which becomes very tedious if you need like ten pieces)?

All answers I could find were about cutting a very long clip into pieces to make it fit multiple dvds etc. In this case the answer was always to manually search for good points to place the cuts which is completely right. In my case this doesn't apply though as I explicitly want to cut an already short clip into multiple pieces of the same length.
