Anyone have guidance on how to create a split screen between cameras in a multicam project? Is it possible?

Thanks

Michael

That is the simple solution!

But you don't have to sync them. just put a couple of cuts in the multi-track 'clip' where you want the split-screen and then alt-drag that portion up a track. It will be synced and you can select a new cam on that clip and then do the split.

Cool! When you switch the camera view, it may go onto the lower track, but the upper track will remain as you dragged it. So you can then do the split with a mask or crop, etc. Also, you can right-click and multi-camera 'flatten' one or both of the clips. They would remain synced and you can work with those.

Description in more detail would be good. Are you trying to have something else showing as one screen and the multi-cam on the other? That would be easy enough by having them on separate tracks of course ... using a mask to limit the upper track visibility to the appropriate section of the screen.

Thanks Neil,

I'd love to split screen between two cameras within the multicam, if possible. I don't know if this is possible without adding additional tracks on top of the multicam and manually syncing them to the multicam. I was hoping there was a simple solution, but maybe not.

Thanks
