Split Screen Mask

I'm looking for a split screen mask where I can still slide and adjust the video on both sides without going over the lines. All the methods I am using lock the picture within the mask and move the mask with it when I move the video. Thank you for any help!

Here's one way - add the "Transform" and "Crop" effects to your clips (or adjustment layer) in that order (Transform effect first, followed by Crop effect). Do all your positional movements with that Transform effect rather than the Transform property built into the track.

You can also create separate sequences in the aspect ratio of the split screen you desire. For example, if you are working in a 1920 x 1080 sequence and you want two split screen videos inside that frame. You can create two separate sequences measuring 960 x 540. You can then nest those split screen sequences within your main sequence and animate and move those screens without using a mask at all. I created free split screen templates in this way, that you can use for free and base future split screens on for your own projects, see here:  Free Split Screen Templates for Premiere Pro! - YouTube

Let me know if you have any other questions!
