Srt file includes "uhms"

When you say Adobe deleted the "uhms," do you mean by filtering Filler Words in the Transcript tab and then pressing Delete All?

If so, the "uhms" still appearing in the SRT would suggest the original unedited media is somehow being exported as the SRT, rather than the edited sequence.

A quick way to check this would be to import the exported SRT file back into Premiere Pro. Do these captions line up with the captions in your sequence?

I exported srt from the 3 dot menu and File → Export → Captions. I used 2 subtitle tracks, one created before deleting filler words and one after. 

There were no uhms (or any variation of filler words) exported in the srts.

The oddities I saw were minimal, but there are many variables and play and I did only basic tests.

There is an outstanding bug regarding pauses and accuracy, and I am not ruling out a bug. But I’d suggest your next create a simple project with one timeline and subtitle track to see if the problem occurs there.

What version of PR are you using? Are you exporting the srt from the 3 dot menu, when exporting the sequence, or File → Export → Captions?

You have a single caption track? You do not see the uhms in the timeline/program monitor and not in the text panel/captions tab?
