STATIC ISSUES: I have static with exports and when editing, every time i pause i end up with static.

I'm having trouble with the footage I'm editing. Every time I pause, the program monitor shows static. Also, when I export the work, I get static within the video at various points. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue?

I was just about to make a post about this myself. Everything had been fine for me until today and now all my videos look like this. It started right as I was finishing a project for work too.
