Hi

To start of: I have tried deleting my media cache. I have reinstalled Premiere Pro several times, and I have enabeled auto save to Cloud. STILL I get the warning every time I start up PP "Running Low on memory". Also I get "unable to draw image. GDI Status "Out of memory". PP moans about not beeing able to create image buffer, and I get a bunch of low level exeptions with "ImporterMPEG(importer 39) and Importer 81"

I have plenty of space on all my drives and 16 gb's of RAM.

Please help!

Hi @billie37455215nb4q,

This is a pretty old post. The key troubleshooting technique is to create a new project and import the old one into the new one. Let us know if that might work for you. I hope the advice helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

I Run Windows 11 (22H2) Premiere Pro version 23.0 I always keep it updated. I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphic card, running on a Dell XPS 8940 i7 computer.

I have attached a few photos of some of the error messages I get. Usually when starting PP. Or as soon as I try to create a new project. (The whole issue seems to have started when I was editing a whole bunch of GoPro-clips into a loong film (1 hour 45 minutes) I was never able to render the film or mix it down. I had to use my laptop to do that. Since then, I have not been able to use PP on my stationary computer, due to all the errors.

Hi Nils,

Sorry. What is the method you are using to delete Media Cache? Are you doing it manually or via Preferences > Media Cache? If the latter, make sure to choose File > Close All Projects before doing so, then choose to delete all media cache (the second option in the dialog box). If you have done that, can you try transcoding or creating proxies for the clips in a test project to see if you have better performance and fewer errors?

Thanks,
Kevin
