Struggling with importing footage and luts

Hey there, I've been trying to import on premiere using cmd+I, double clicking in the project bin and file import. But that isn't working? The only way I can import is to drag and drop from the finder window. 

I can't browse for Luts in Lumentri colour either when trying to import them into my project. I've uninstalled and installed premiere again but the problem persists. 

Please help 🙂

That's in your OS settings for folder/file access. And/or system settings ... I know in Windows, we can set an app to run in Administrator mode, which then gives it over-ride to many permissions but not all. Some things one needs to go to the drive and folder tree to check read/write/access permissions.

Sounds like you may have a significant OS permissions problem there. There's been a number of Mac users with permissions issues of various kinds recently.

Okay thanks! It used to allow me to import normally and all of a sudden it stopped working? How would I fix a permission issue on OS?

Can you import anything with Media Browser?

No I can't, It's greyed out.
