Stuck on "Preparing data for export"

In the past, I've liked to use the feature in the project bin where you can select multiple sequences and hold 'command + M' to queue them up for export in media encoder. I've just tried this again but premiere freezes on this "Preparing data for export" window and I get the rainbow spin wheel. It also shows premiere as "not responding" in the force quit menu

Same on Windows since a recent update.

What happens if you launch Media Encoder and go to File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence instead of sending the sequence from Premiere Pro? In the dialog that pops up, select the project file you are working on in Premiere Pro.

If it still fails, go to Edit > Preferences > General in Media Encoder and un-check "Import sequences natively" and click OK and then try File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence again.

Same exact problem for me.  No solution yet after all these months.  Typical Adobe.

Hi! I also get this when exporting a lot of sub sequences to media encoder. I have a well specified workstation and have done this many times before with no issue – but no more.

Ten or so sub-sequences get added to the list and then Premier hangs

This issue is very detrimantl to my work flow - any help would be appricated.

Same issue persists . A lot of my work requires i make many sub seqs and then export them induvidually. The workaorund you suggests also causes media enc to hang/crash. It used to work so well. Thnak you for your help but this issue isn't solved.

Yes, that was what i was doing just a minute ago. Pulling the project from Premiere works. At least a reliable workaround. Thank you!

Hi there!

Sorry about the issue. Do you have any third party plugins installed? Could you share a screenshot of the export settings?

Let us know.

Thanks,

KR
