Stupid Question re: Post-Squeezing

Hey, guys, really simple and dumb question here.

I figured out how to squeeze a shot (see image below), by unmarking "Uniform Scale" on the Motion tab and changing the Scale Widht.

What I don't know how to do now is it to resize it to fit into the screen, without the black voids on the sides (the ones on top and bottom are intentional, to make it 2.35:1.). Help?

Also, is there a way to do this for the whole video without going shot by shot?

Appreciate it!

Click on the clip on that you have adjusted on the timeline.

Once selected, go to the menu Clip > Nest and nest the clip.

Once the clip is nested, adjust the scale on the nest.

There are other ways, this is one.

Why not edit in a Sequence native to your footage?

If you're wanting the black on the top/bottom, just make a Title Object with Black Rectangles at the desired locations.

Another option would be to experiment with your Export settings to Export an area larger than your footage.

Jax, the top/bottom doesn't matter. I got that covered. my footage is 1080 x 1920. I squeezed it a little bit and now there are black bars showing on the sides. I wanna keep the 1080 x 1920 size, so I'd need to make the footage bigger post-squeeze to fit in that size. The question is: how do I do this? I can't use the Scale function anymore, since I unmaked the "Uniform Scale" tab to squeeze it.
