Subtitle Menu Appearance looks different?

Hey all, can someone help me with my subtitles please. 
When I first made captions for this video I could easily change the background width / outline of my subtitles. But since saving the subtitles as a new style, the appearance menu looks totally different and I don't have the same options I had before. See two screenshots below.

I want to go back to the old menu so that I can change the width of the background behind my text. Does anyone know what to do?
