Sudden and inexplicable memory leakage.
I have been rendering the same types of exercise videos for the last 2 years on my Mac 16 RAM with no issues. Rendering usually take between 45 to 80 minutes for a 35 minute video depending on the content. I render 5 videos a week (one video for each day of the work week) and each video is exactly the same with the only difference being the muscle group targeted. About 4 weeks ago while preparing for the upcoming week I rendered the videos for Monday and Tuesday with no issue but when I moved onto the third video it said that the video would take almost 4 hours to render. Then after it reached 33% it paused stating that there wasn't enough application memory and I was intructed to force quit. What happened between video 2 and 3 that would cause this bug? I've looked through multiple forums and they were not helpful as they all seemed to point to an issue with memory, memory allocation, media cache, other opened apps, etc. None of the responses addressed why premiere pro rendering would be completely fine on Tuesday and then pop up with this issue on Wednesday rendering the same video. I know for sure that this is an issue with adobe as I moved the project to my laptop and recieved the same error. Keep in mind that just like with my Mac, I completed projects on my laptop all the time over the last 2 years with no problems. In fact I've never experienced this problem over many years using Premiere Pro. I even went as far as reinstalling my Mac software and then reinstalling the Adobe suite, then rendering the project again before installing any other applications and it still didn't make it past 33%.
