Suddenly very long rendering times 3x the length of the video

Hello! Suddenly, when I tried to render my most recent video it took much longer than usual. Rendering a 5m 16s video took 17m 40s and I'm trying to solve the issue, since it appeared quite suddenly.

For storing recorded and finished videos I use Samsung EVO Plus 500GB SSD 

Videos I use for editing are 3840x2160 30 FPS but the project resolution and rendering is in 1920x1080 30FPS

I don't think the recording itself cause any issues, since previously I was able to render a 5 min video in maybe 6 or 7 min, so It's very difficult to pinpoint a specific reason as to why it's happening.

Have you checked to see how full the drive is?

 

It may be wise to clear out your Previews and other temporary files.

 

Go to File > Project > Scratch disks to locate where your previews are written to.

 

Close out PPro. Navigate to the file on your disk. Calculate the size of the folder. See if deleting the files will help freeing up space.

 

In my system, I have incorporated 3 separate SSD's: apps, data and temp. My machine is from 2016 and still runs like clockwork, even with the latest CC versions.

Unfortunately deleting TMP files was the first thing I did, and disabled audio input device. As you can see on the screenshots the disc is mostly free, only 24/500gb so definetly it's not full. I hope it's not anything more serious. My CPU seems to work normally at normal temperatures (75-82 degrees) and 100% when rendering so that also is not an issue I think.

I think your problem is VFR: convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere.
