For editing I use a Logitech G300 and a Logitech G13. The G13 just gives me 70+ keys for macros so it makes editing really quick, however I went like 2 years with the G300 by itself which has 6 programmable keys which is still enough. The combo of the two is just great

    Mine works perfectly.

BTW I tend to use it wired instead of wirelessly.

It sometimes used to create an error sound that I could not trace and I got sick of hearing the loud "bing bong" when it happened.

you never get autoscrolling pages when the wheel is in a free mode?to me happen this with mx master and another model of logitech. I scroll down..leave the wheel..and suddendly alone, it scroll up. Not always..but often. Thi is the reason for which i want to change it and for i concern about all logitech with free scroll feature. so you never have this then?

One thing to look at are the "vertical" mouse units, that hold the hand just a bit more vertical than a standard mouse, and are more 'ergonomic' for your wrist. And there are some gaming-versions of these with multiple buttons/mapping that can be of  use.

As well as a standard mouse I have a Contour Shuttle with the soft keys programmed for my most used functions. I wouldn't be without it.
