So today I installed the cc programs on Windows 10 home. Most of the programs opened except both premiere pro and aftereffects failed to open, prompting me with the error message:

The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

After searching around the forums, there were solutions of downloading a dll and pasting it into the application folders. This did not work for me and clearly it didn't work for some people as well.

No solution or forum post I've found had this so I'd like to share this. After being really frustrated for hours, I've figured it out.

The surefire way to fix this is to basically install all Visual C++ redistributables, both x86 and x64.

There's no need to manually navigate and copy/paste some downloaded dll's.

Here's a list that I found. I believe the download links are directly from Microsoft's website.
