switching between sequences, the playhead doesn't stay where left off

When switching to another sequence (open in a tab in my timeline), the playhead doesn't stay where I left off, so when I return to that previous sequence again, it jumps to the one particular spot on that timeline. Always to the same spot. Very annoying, as I need to switch back and forth a lot between multiple open sequences  -  so every time I switch to one or the other, I have to zoom out, move around, and zoom in again to get to the spot again where I left off. How can I stop that behavior? I've seen posts about the playhead jumping to the beginning of a sequnce - that's not what's happening in my project. It jumps to the same certain spot that it seems to like. Suggestions? Thanks so much!
