sync settings in Premiere 25 on Mac

Having difficulty figuring out how to Sync Settings from the cloud onto a new Mac. I jump from job to job to different companies and need to be able to upload my settings to Creative Cloud then sync these settings to the Mac at my new job. I did a google search but got confusing answers:
https://helpx.adobe.com/my_ms/premiere-pro/using/sync-settings-cc.html

It’d be especially helpful to be able to sync my custom Workspaces. Not sure if there’s an easy way to do that. From what I can tell, my custom workspaces, at the Finder level, don’t carry the name I give them in Premiere, so I can’t tell which one is which, or if I can drag them into Finder on another computer.

    Hi KazuT,
Thanks for the question Premiere Pro 25 no longer reliably supports Creative Cloud “Sync Settings.”

To transfer settings (including workspaces), you should manually copy your Profile folder:

    Path (Mac):

    Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/25.0/Profile-<username>/

Copy this folder to the new Mac and replace the existing one.

    This transfers:

    Workspaces

    Keyboard shortcuts

    Preferences

Custom workspaces can’t be identified individually in Finder, so copying the whole profile is necessary.

I hope this works for you. Sorry for the frustration.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Nice! Since it’s a shared computer where multiple users have their own settings on it, I suppose I have to manually copy the relevant files into each subfolder so I don’t overwrite other people’s settings? And renumber the workspace files so I don’t overwrite others’?
