Synchronize Clips dialog / Timecode grayed out

I'm trying to synchronize two clips:
1. I select the two clips,

2. Right click the clips, select synchronize in menu.
3. Synchronize Clips dialog pops up, and in the options for Synchronize Point, only Clip start and Clip end are selectable. What am I doing wrong? I've done this before and I'm missing something. Both clips are the same frame rate. 
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
