team project file not supported error

does anyone know how to share files fluidly with team projects? My podcast editor and I are trying to use team project to share and edit our show. However, neither of us can access files the other has shared. We have downloaded Google Drive desktop but are still not seeing how to access to files. 

 

Example: I started the project but he doesnt see the project edits ive done... and it says that the file ive added can't be located or he gets "file not supported" error

Your screenshot depicts a local .prproj and not a Team Project. 
But in a Team Project you would need to create a machine specific media mapping, the preferred method to do so is the Media Mangement dialog - Media mapping using Media Management
In the media mapping Just point the offline clips to the Google drive Sync folder on your machine.
