We used to be able to sync to our CC Cloud files our user setup stuff. So once you did it on any computer, on any other computer you logged in to Premiere on, you could 'sync' the user prefs/setup to your other computer.

For some reason they removed that very, very useful feature.

So now you have to do the manual process that Averdahl so nicely laid out.

Yes, the settings are local but one way to solve it is to copy the settings from your old pc to your new.

  • Go to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\25.0 on your old pc.
  • Copy the folder named Profile-UserName and place it on a USB stick.
  • On the new pc, go to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\25.0
  • Select the new folder Profile-UserName and delete it. (Move to Recycle Bin)
  • Insert the USB stick and copy the old folder Profile-UserName from the old pc to the new pc.

The folder Profile-UserName is the folder were all your settings, keyboard shortcuts, etc are stored.

Test and report back if it worked as expected.

I was told in support that they are local settings, but I couldn't find any information on how to transfer the local settings to my new pc.
