text-based editing not transcribing

Hi Adobe community,

I've been following a few tutorials and yet I'm struggling to transcrib my video.

In the text-based editing workspace, I double click on a clip from the bin, then I click on Transcrib in the Transcript panel. It opens a window asking me to choose language (English) and to separate or no the speakers (I tried both). 

Then I hit transcrib.

And then nothing happens. 

What do you think could be the issue? My app is up to date. Or am I missing something?

On a side note, I was able to generate a static transcript from a timeline, but when I tried to turn it into an editable transcript, it just disapeared. 

I don't see what I'm doing wrong here. Any pointer would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
