Text "burning" when video played

I guess there's really no other way to describe it. Whether I add a logo or text, they pulsate or "burn" kind of like a neon light when my video is played. I pause it, it reverts back to its regular form.

There aren't any Facebook groups for newbies, and the online tutorials online give some insight. This forum has been great, though.

Also, I motion text in on a lot of my videos, which is why I wanted to teach myself premier in the first place. I'm adding a graphic, coloring it, adding text to it, giving the background opacity when need be, etc. I've seen a lot of really cool effects I'm hoping to learn.
