Text Editor making timeline skip forward when using razor blade on timeline

When I am in text edit mode, after searching on the text panel, If I attempt to cut in and out points on the timeline, using the razor tool, after the in cut, the timeline line  skips randomly forward, it does not stay in place like a normal timeline cut, making me zoom out to find it, and then drag it back  to the proper area for my out cut.  Seems like this must be a bug of some sort.  PP 24.1.0 (build 85). Mac Sonoma 14.1.1
