Text Panel Font Bug

Hello, normally the font looks fine in the Text panel, but when I double-click the text and try to edit it, the font in the panel suddenly changes to a very bad-looking font. How can I fix this?

I didn’t have this issue before. It suddenly started happening, and I used Premiere like this for a while on version 25.6.3. I then updated to version 25.6.6, but the issue is still there.

    I can’t update to the latest version because I’m using Windows 10, and I can’t risk my projects if something breaks. I have two 1920×1080 monitors, and the scaling is set to 100% on both.

    This kind of distortion, text rendering fine until a layout change then appearing compressed, often points to a display scaling or GPU rendering mismatch.

    Could you share:

    • Your OS, and if Windows, your display scaling percentage
    • Whether you're on multiple monitors with different scaling
    • Whether resizing or moving the Text panel triggers the same look
