TextBox (not caption) transitions are not working for Barn Doors & Radial Wipe

Certain transitions stopped working. I've tried to use them for textboxes (not captions), but no effect. When using the transition to make the text appear, no effect. The box isn't visible until once the entering transition time is complete, the box appears just appears. The exit transition has no effect, just disappears at the end of the transition.

I have already cleared the media cache and uninstall/reinstalled Premiere Pro. Other transitions work, just not these, but for the nature of my videos, I prefer these transitions. Any advice is appreciated.

If it is a glitch, did you try resetting preferences.

It's working now, and I don't know why. All I did was give up on this for a week.

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

Then try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the red line above the timeline to green.

Can you elaborate on "Then try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the red line above the timeline to green." ??? Where am I clicking before pressing enter to turn the red line?

Transitions are designed to work the entire frame.

Your text is just a small part of the entire frame, that is why you dont see the effect properly.

Use masks instead.

Just look where the text box is situated opposite the transitions.
