The Everylang program crashes Premiere Pro

When I have https://everylang.net/ running and I try to rename something within the program, Premiere freezes and stops working. Why does it react this way to third-party software? I just want the autocorrect to work. By the way, I don’t have this problem in Photoshop, but Premiere freezes and stops working. Is this a kernel issue?

    Hey Paul,

This doesn't sound like a kernel issue. EveryLang works by hooking into keyboard input for autocorrect, while Premiere Pro uses custom text controls that can conflict with third-party input hooks. That can cause Premiere to freeze when renaming items.

The fact that Photoshop works but Premiere doesn't points to an application-specific compatibility issue rather than a Windows problem.

If EveryLang has an exclusion list, try adding Adobe Premiere Pro.exe or disabling autocorrect just for Premiere. Also make sure both applications are up to date and running at the same privilege level (both as administrator or both not).

Can you share your Premiere Pro version, Windows version, and EveryLang version? Also, does the freeze only happen when renaming items, or anywhere you type in Premiere? Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
