The footage is really choppy and jumps around (Re: vfr variable frame rate - iphone / mov files)

Hello!

I have just come across this feed and it describes my problems perfectly. My situation is that I am working with video from my Canon M50 and I downloaded MOV format (not ideal I know). These files play perfectly on my computer but when I add them into Adobe it all goes wrong. The footage is really choppy and jumps around a lot. I have encoded them as MP4 files and changed frame rates etc but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't know what else to do. I'm new to Adobe and this is my first project but I'm really thinking of leaving as I can't make progress. Any ideas?

Your camera does not have vfr.

Ah I see. How do I rectify this in Adobe PP?
