Question

the image of the timeline (sequence) on a separate monitor

I would like to have the image of the timeline (sequence) with Premiere Pro on a separate monitor. This is how I do it: I open the Premiere Preferences and go to Playback .. The connected monitor is visible in this field on all videos that I have seen, this field is empty for me ... What am I doing wrong or what? Is there any other way?

Many thanks for your help! Peter den Hartogh

I have a video tutorial that might be worth watching for people who want dual monitors. That being said the screen shots you posted EvertsFD6 are the correct pathway. I am not sure why your second monitor will not work with Premiere Pro.

I tried like the first option in this YouTube video. My monitor does not appear in the field at "playback"! That's why it doesn't work!

Try clicking on the Enable Mercury Transmit box and enable Transmit in your program monitor menu.

Hi Peter, could you attach a screenshot to illustrate this?
