The Importer Reported a Generic Error. HELP!!

okay so pretty much I was editing a video in premier pro using dynamic link with after effects and I finished so I went to export the video and it froze at 16% so I force quit and now when I go back to open my project it stops importing my clips (so a lot of clips say media pending) and when I try to re link the clips it says the The Importer Reported a Generic Error. I've tried to shut down, quit, clear cache, and adjust project settings. nothing has worked please help!!
