The lumetri color doesn't work

HI everyone, I am new here. I'm using premiere pro CC 2019. When I make any changes on lumetri color, it does not show any changes either on the adjustment layer or clip directly. I've googled for the answer, many of them are solved by the "FX" button on the Program Monitor. It seems not work for me, can anyone help me please? thank you so much!

OK, but why should I have to do that? Surely, I am using the latest 2020 version and I shouldn't have to reinstall it? Waste of time!!

Make sure your playhead is on the clip you're adjusting.  (I've made that mistake more than once.)
