The mask and pen tools under opacity in the Effects Control panel are missing.

I have selected the clip and the fx opacity and no tools are visible

    @FeliciaVG With Premiere version 26.0, we’ve reworked the masking tools. You can now find them in the Tool palette (the little thin panel with the selection tool, razor blade, etc). Click and hold on the Object Mask tool and you’ll see the options for circle, rectangle, and pen masking tools.

    In this new workflow, you start by selecting the clip in the timeline, then choosing one of the new masking tools, then drawn your shape. The mask will appear in the Effects Control Panel and can be dragged on to any effect to mask the effect.

    I am missing effects panel in effects menu on the right. It is in one of the tabs in the project window, but not in the usual right side.

    You cannot work as before ... so go to the Tools bar in the Timeline panel, hover over the icons there for Ripple and whatnot ... when you hover over the new icon for masking, you get a pop-up that gives a link over to their documentation on the new masking system.

    It is far more powerful, but ... you cannot figure it out unless you read the documentation.

    Everyone's mileage always varies ...
