I'm attempting to make a gradation as a project and I have to adjust the color of scene with various colors. However, on my computer, there are only two colors which are black and white. I wanna choose some different color such as red, blue or orange, but I can't. I have checked every system or any other things that are associated with the adjustment of colors though, to me there's nothing wrong. Additionally, when I click the eyedropper on the effect "change to color", changed the color to yellow and I dropped it, the color just automatically changes the color to black or red. How do I choose other colors instead of black and white?

It sounds like something isn't working right that should be easy.

Can you post a screenshot of where you are trying to change the gradient colors?

You didn't mention which OS you're using, but if you happen to be running macOS then Premiere Pro needs permission to record the screen for the eye dropper to work.  It's not actually making a screen recording, but the dialog box makes it seem like it is and it's easy to click "deny" rather than "allow".
