Thumbnails are going BLACK, but only when changing the speed of the clip.

Title is the description.  I could try and describe it in more detail, but I'd probably wouldn't articulate it effectively.  So, here's a screen grab of the issue:

Anyone got any ideas?  This is maddening.  I'm trying to do an entire edit with 50% speed on the clips.  I can't be changing the speed of EVERY. SINGLE. EDIT. OF. EVERY. SINGLE. CLIP.

This issue should be fixed in Premiere Pro 14.0, which was released today.

I am having these same issues described above. I nest a few clips, add some speed ramping, and once one of the clips ends in the nest the entire nest goes dark.

I tried:

  • restarting
  • creating a new nest
  • using different clips
  • pulling all clips out of the nest and affecting speed (which worked, but is a huge pain and workflow is slower/more complicated)
  • Adding a frame hold to extend the shorter clip so that it continues, but nest still goes dark at the end of it.

None of this worked!

Hey there, Path88!

I'm able to reproduce this on my end, so I'll show the build team and see what they know about it. Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention!

You can also adjust the speed of multiple clips simultaneously in your sequence. You can highlight whichever clips you need to adjust and adjust the speed the same way.

A fix would be nice.  This is an introduced bug into the latest version.  Should be remedied by now, shouldn't it?
