Timeline fast-forward glitch?

Hi,

I've come across a frustrating glitch or issue where after leaving a timeline running after a short period of time, the video on my timeline would go into what looks like fast-forward mode without pressing the L button. I cannot find the solution to this issue. I've pressed the J button several times to reverse this but I am still having issues. Right now, I've resorted to closing the app and opening it again so the issue doesn't come up again. Is there a particular reason for this happening? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Could you please lend a hand?

Thank you

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

Hi Henry5C5C,

We're sorry to hear about this. Are you experiencing this issue with any specific project or all the projects? Please share a screenshot of the Audio Hardware preferences window in Premiere Pro. Also, let us know the version of Premiere Pro that you are using.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Hi,

This issue seems to be happening on all projects. I am running on
