Timeline not moving while rearranging clips

Hello,

When I'm rearranging clips on my timeline and I want to move a clip outside the current view of the timeline (when I'm zoomed in for example) I'm not able to select and select a clip and drag it to the left or right and make the timeline go to the left or right as wel. So I have to zoom out, drag the clip to the place I want it to be and have to zoom in again. When I'm moving the clip to the right and place it on the playback monitor, several options appear like replace and overwrite. How do I go back to beeing able to move the timeline while rearranging clips? Thank you in advance.
