Timeline Panel: GO TO PREVIOUS MARKER and GO TO NEXT MARKER not working

Hi there, I am editing with the latest Premiere Pro V23 and for whatever reason, when I am in the TIMELINE only, my key strokes for GO TO PREVIOUS MARKER and GO TO NEXT MARKER do not work at all. In the source window, those keystrokes work but not in the TIMELINE or PROGRAM windows.  Is this is a bug someone has come across?  Is there a solve? This has never happened to me before.  (I've shut down the mac and restarted everything as well, but the problem persists).  Thanks for any input...

I recommend upvoting this bug report that has more action:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/quot-go-to-next-previous-marker-quot-feature-not-working-with-clip-markers-in-the-timeline/idi-p/13415460

Seth noted in his bug report that the Source Monitor works. I believe it works because it is one clip and it must start at zero. The problem occurs when a sequence has at least one clip that does not start at zero and that clip has clip markers

As noted in my post there, this appears to be fixed in the Beta version. And I have not seen any report that there is a workaround.

Still having this same problem since updating to Premiere 23.1.0 - the "Go to Next/Previous Marker" commands are not working in the Timeline window, even though the commands DO WORK in the Source Monitor.  Has anyone found a solution?

Another clumsy mistake when working with Markers on the timeline. Does not work. Tested it. I vote.

I just tested  and am getting the same result on my Win10 PC. Changing this to a 'bug' filing ...
