Timeline: Playhead does not stop at out point

Hi community

I have a sequence with a clip at the end of the timeline. The out point is a bit further in, but my playhead would not stop at the out point, but runs right to the end of the clip in the timeline...

Unless I'm completely clueless and my Altzheimer has started to kick in, I have no recollection of this happening before... The out point should make the playhead stop, no?
How can I fix this?
