Timeline selection not rendering out.

In Premiere Pro, when I try to export a selection on the timeline, in the export window, it only renders for  less than a second, then says, "Video successfully  rendered" but there is only a very short black render. This worked fine until a coup;e days ago. Any ideas what is happening?

Thanks

Kartika, thanks for reminding me to check the export page settings. Somehow the source got changed to "custom."

Not sure how that happened. Set it back to "In/out points" and all is good. Thanks ,Bob

Hi rbuncher!

Sorry about the issue. Could you check that the in and out points are set correctly on your timeline? Sometimes, if these points are not set, Premiere Pro might export a very short segment or a black screen. Also, can you share a screenshot of export settings to ensure that the correct range (source in/out) is selected and not the work area.

In addition to above, please try deleting cache files and see if that helps.

Thanks,

KR
