Has anyone else noticed a slowdown on the timeline after transcribing a video in Premiere Pro? It's been bugging me, and I'm wondering if it's a common thing or if there's a quick fix. Any insights are appreciated!

Hi @Ali28025844ncm5,

I saw your movie. Thanks for that. Any info on your system and media? I have a feeling that the media you are using is not optimal (may contain a variable frame rate). You may want to try transcoding it back to H.264 or ProRes LT using Media Encoder or Shutter Encoder. Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for checking out the movie! I appreciate the heads-up on the media. The issue seems to pop up specifically when I'm using the "transcribe remove pause" feature. I'll give your suggestion a shot and see if the transcoding does the trick. Fingers crossed!
