Timeline Window keep freezing premiere 2021

When I work with sequences(when the video is green in the timeline, not sure what the technical name is) the timeline window keeps freezing and I have to select another window and then select a timeline for it to start working again.

I'm using windows & the latest premiere pro 2021 update.

I've had this issue since 2 weeks back.
