Timeline Won't Play Back!!!

I cannot play back video on the timeline or preview since the recent Windows update. I've dried fixing this by updating my driver on NVIDIA. Basically, I hit play on the timeline and it takes about 15 minutes to play. Clicking to different frames on the timeline takes about 5 minutes to work. My main computer is below, but I've so far opened the project on two different computers with the same results.

Have you tried rolling back the video driver to earlier versions?

We didn't go backwards, but we updated after the problems started to occur last week

Try older drivers.  Windows Update may have installed a bad driver.
