Timshift on diffrent devices using Google Drive

Hello all,

I have a problem with the combination of Premiere Pro and Google Drive.

I work on my projects entirely with the Google Drive Desktop App.
All project files are in one Google Drive folder.
If I now want to open the project on another device, I get a time shift with some video files.
It is as if Premiere does not remember the start point at which the edited material should begin.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem, or a possible solution?

Thanks a lot
Shane

It sounds like you are experiencing the known issue with Premiere Pro 23.4.

Rolling back to 23.3 or updating to 23.6 prevents it from happening, but if you have already opened and saved the project then the unwanted change has been saved.  Hopefully there is an auto-save project that can be opened in 23.3 or 23.6 and then saved as the current project.

Google Drive is not the right type of cloud storage for how you are working.  LucidLink is.

Can you describe this in more detail? What exactly should I sync where and how?
