Question

Title Duration

I am using a macbook pro OS12.2.1 with Premiere 22.5.0

I used one of the standard titles available with Premiere — one called Bold Title — and placed it at the begining of a video sequance. The bold title pops up and then after a short while fades away. The pop-up happens quickly and I would like to lengthen the duration so it pops up more slowly and disappears more slowly. I can drag the whole title clip to make it longer, but that doesn't change the pop-up time.

Is it possible to modify that aspect of one of the standard title templates?

If you to the Essential graphics panel in the Edit tab, you can see how the preset was created. Now, in the Effects control panel you can see the same effects and their keyframes just as well. By altering these keyframes you can influence the timing of the effect.

Hope this helps.

Richard:    When I go to Window > Workspaces > Effects, and choose Essential Graphics in the righthand panel, I find the following things I can modulate for the title, but I do not see any keyframes anywhere.

Keyframes are found in the EFFECT CONTROLS panel as Richard already mentioned. Not the Essential Graphics panel.

Might want to go through this page first.
