is there a shortcut to toggle between open sequences? like the way Cmd+Tab toggles between open apps?

Yes/no... On Windows it is Shift+3 and it´s probably the same on the Mac but it will not toggle, just cycle in the same order they were opened. So it does seem randomly at first.
