Question

Toggling visibility in nested track won't ripple down

I've started having an odd problem with nested tracks that I didn't have before. If I nest 2 tracks in order to make a multicam timeline, then proceed with editing the multicam sequence, all is good. Then I change the program window back to composite, still fine.

If I now go and reopen the nested sequence (that contains the 2 video source tracks used for the multicam sequence), and click the eyeball on one track to hide it, so I can color-correct the other track, the track remains hidden in the multicam sequence even after the eyeball is clicked again and it is visible in the nested source timeline.

The only way to get it visible again is to close and reopen the project.

This has been happening now for a couple of weeks. I'm on Windows 10, Premiere Pro CC 11.1.2(22). The media is Canon MXF 1080p, but it also happens with Canon MP4 files from a 7D2. My video card is a Geforce 970. I tried updating the Nvidia driver, but it didn't make a difference.

Is there some setting I am unaware of, or is this a bug?

I realize this thread is from Aug 2017, but I've just started seeing this in PR2018 release, anyone else seeing this behavior in PR18? Or does anyone have details on a fix? Thanks

I've seen this as well.  My thinking is a bug.
