Track name in EDL/ALE or in Metadata and Timecode Burn-In

I was curious if there's any way to include the names of tracks in my timeline in an EDL or ALE. I have each track named but once exported, the track names are back to being called V1, V2, etc. In the ALE, under tracks it says VA1 for all of the clips.

In a similar vein, I have an adjustment layer in my timeline with the metadata and timecode burn-in effect on it. I have the burn-in directed to different tracks in the "source track" option which shows all of the track names, but when I select the Source track label box it uses V1, V2, etc again. It would be great to have the Source track label say the name of the track I've chosen in the same way the source track dropdown does. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
